At the age of seven, Wim Demessemaekers got his very first camera. Everywhere he went, he took it with him, looking wide-eyed and full of wonderment at the world around him. Determined to document everything that was happening around him.
Many years later, his passion for photography led him to study sociology. Still today, he peers through his lenses with the eyes of a sociologist. As a keen student of human nature, he understands that you need to know the smaller tales, to understand the bigger story.
After his studies, Wim unleashed his passion for photography in numerous communication projects. Sharing his know-how about visual storytelling and the mighty narrative power that it contains. For 12 years, he was at the head of his own successful advertising company. Developing influential campaigns for blue-chip clients like Proximus, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, BNP Paribas Fortis, and many others.
Years later, the call of his true passion remained the loudest, and he decided to entirely focus on his professional photography career. And there’s no way back. He will show the extraordinary beauty of our little blue planet through his lenses and unlock compelling narratives with his partners in crime.
